Today, 14 March, is White Day~!🤍

It’s “White” Day, just like the colour I’d chosen to represent myself, so I find myself fairly emotionally attached to this day (*´꒳`*)

Out of all the shades of white in this world, of which it’s said that as many as 200 exist, I’m glad you chose this shade of white, being my member colour in Travis Japan!

Thank you for discovering Travis Japan☺️

I receive a lot of love in this line of work, but I think it’s my sworn duty to return that love I’ve received in equal amount, so I’d be happy if you could continue to look forward to things to come, even beyond the tour☺️

Travis Japan’s been confirmed to appear in 2 TV-broadcast commercials from April onwards!!!✨

Our commercial for Kagome-san’s vegetable drink “Yasai Seikatsu 100” will be aired nationwide from 3 April!🍅

I can’t wait for the broadcast!

Every day, I’ve been drinking “Yasai Seikatsu 100” together with my regular diet, since we’ve been appointed as ambassadors for Kagome’s vegetable drinks!

I feel really proud of myself, that I’m putting more focus into being healthy, and every day has become more vibrant for me! (I’m saying this for real; I’m not exaggerating in the slightest)

When I’m torn on what drink to buy at the convenience store, having a drink in mind saves me time, and the drink is also good for health! Wonderful!

But there’s so many different flavours, so even if I’ve decided I’m going to purchase “Yasai Seikatsu 100” I might still be torn as to which one to pick~! (lol)

What a first world problem~! (lol)

Personally, I was really happy that I got to hold the plate for the tomato juice during the press conference!🍅

After all, my favourite food in the world is tomatoes. Fufufu.

“Travis Japan Debut Concert Tour 2023 THE SHOW ~Tadaima, Okaeri~” ended smoothly with no issue~✨

In last month’s regular update, I’d just gotten done expressing my joy that we’d gotten off to a smooth start, too! (lol)

We started in Nagoya (Aichi) on 28 January, and went to Fukuoka, Niigata, Osaka and Yokohama (Kanagawa), and completed a total of 23 shows💨

It’s our debut concert, so we made it something that’s packed full of our thoughts and feelings!

It’s a tour that served as a resolution, and also a challenge, and also a declaration of our intent!

How should we present the freshly-debuted Travis Japan?

We thought a lot about the kind of resolution we wanted to have (for this tour), and how we wanted to express that!

It’s a live concert that was created based on the theme of “THE SHOW”, the sub-theme of “Tadaima, Okaeri (We’re back, Welcome home)”, and the hidden theme of “non-stop dancing”🕺

Apart from the portions where the stage production focused purely on singing, the songs performed on the moving carts, and the parts where we were talking, we put together the setlist and stage in such a way that we could focus all of our energies on dancing!

“To think we would dance this muchhhhhh!!!!”🧐

That’s the level we aspired to for the concert!

After all, it’s “JUST DANCE”!

We used the simplest arena-class stage, comprising a main stage, centre stage and the walkway between the two, and put in so much energy into each and every song that we were on the brink of collapsing at the end of each song.

At some venues we couldn’t use the moving carts with mic stands, or we would get cut off if we went around the perimeter, and we struggled with those problems in our meetings, but in order to let our concept shine through we scrounged up every inch of knowledge we had and put it together, and came up with a “moving truck” that had no railings or hand-holds! We also obsessed over the layout of the main stage to make sure it would become a powered-up, legendary stage!

It was a debut concert with just the 7 of us members, so precisely because there would (need to) be at least one of us standing on stage at all times, we also worked at our costume-changing speed so that we’d be done in barely 10 seconds.

We really felt this during the dance competitions in America as well, but the more people you have in the audience, the more energy you use up, and the more broadly your performance has to spread (across the stage)! That part was tough! (lol)

We weren’t able to spare the time within the setlist this time around to have a moment where all 7 of us went to get changed at the same time and appeared together in new stage outfits, and so finding the most opportune timings to slot in (breaks for costume changes) felt like a puzzle, which was super thrilling!✨

After all, the more we push the boundaries of what the 7 of us can do, the better a performance we can produce, but at the same time, the drain on our stamina would also get really intense!🔥

I can’t resist it!

That feeling!

It’s burning in me~🔥

I feel alive~✨

We really put a lot of thought into the transitions between songs, and the order of songs!☺️

We also put a lot of thought into the video inserts, and discussed a lot about the movement path for the moving carts and the camerawork, and we worked together with the staff and everyone day and night! With that kind of feeling, it truly was the best tour✨

Every time we finish a performance, we’ll inevitably think, ‘there’s no way I’ll ever get to perform on a stage grander than this one!’, but even so, this concert was truly the hardest, most intense of all the productions we’ve ever done! (lol)

It was hard, but even more than that it was fun, so I got to have a joy-filled time🤍

Concerts are truly the best!

I want to do one again soon!!!✨
