Miyajima Yugo (ORβIT) will take part in a theatre production for the first time! What he has in common with Aladdin of “Magi” is that they are “more than just cute!”
The popular comic published in the “Shuukan Shounen Sunday” magazine, “Magi”, is being made into a musical titled “Magi ~Dungeon Kumikyoku~” this June! It has been announced that the role of Aladdin will be played by YUGO (credited as “Miyajima Yugo”) from the boys’ group ORβIT. Miyajima is well-known for his cute visuals and steady performances, but it will be his first time taking on acting and theatre. We asked him about the mix of anxiety and excitement he’s feeling right now, and his fresh enthusiasm for the project.
