It must be pretty hard to think up a menu (to cook), how do you come up with it?
~
Noel
When I go to the supermarket once a week, I’m like “I’ll make 3 portions of this!” and buy the appropriate ingredients, then for the rest I’ll just end up buying ingredients that are versatile~!
When I feel like it and have the energy, I’ll randomly put together ingredients in the fridge, and try to recreate dishes I’ve made before or cobble together something new!
Other than that, when I’m busy, I’ll quickly make the 3-portion dish I’d decided on previously, something like that! ☺️
A week tends to pass in the blink of an eye like that! (lol)
Generally I’ll make more at night, because I try not to spend time (on cooking) in the morning or afternoon, so I can end up cooking up to 7 times a week! 😏 (lol)

Hey! Noel I have lived in America for 3 years when I was in pre school! And I’m now turned in 19! I love the beautiful beach view in America when the sunset goes down! Have you ever saw it?! And also what is your favorite place in Los Angeles?!
~
Noel
Hi:) How’s going?
I’m really happy to receive your message! TAL!
I’ve seen the situation just once! That was so beautiful and aaaaamazing!
Kind of “breathing”!... isn’t it? 🏖
Lake Hollywood Park is my favorite place!!
We went there and shot pic ;)
For private shots ;(
“It’s complicated” lol
[ T/N: This set of question and answer was written entirely in English except for the final line of Noel’s answer, which was in romaji and which I have translated. For everything else, I have preserved it in the exact form it appears in in the blog entry. ]

Is there a way to develop “the power to think of others”?
I want to become someone who’s able to think of others, like Noel-kun.
~
Noel
That makes me happyyyy 🥺
Thank you for saying so! ✨
“The power to think of others”, huh…
If you meet someone who you’re able to think of as precious from the bottom of your heart, and you’re also treasured by that person, and you think that you’d like to treasure that person more…
There, look! Your “thinking” has already become “thinking of others”*!
[ T/N: This distinction made by Noel is a little hard to translate into English; he says that “思う” (‘omou’; to think, to conceive of an idea) has unconsciously turned into “想う” (‘omou’; to think of something with deep, complex emotions). ]
I think that power’ll get even stronger through synergy~!
The power to think of others isn’t something that wells up naturally, it’s something that you distribute with others.
It’s like how for me I had, and still have, Chaka.
A person who’s just a huge, condensed mass of love doesn’t exist.
It’s because “the power to think of others” was distributed to me, that it’s now my turn to distribute it out. Once you receive, it’ll be good if you then take a turn to give.
In order to distribute it, once you think of how you should treasure others, I think that the size of the power that you hold will gradually grow, you know.
As for me, I’d like to keep growing my own even larger!
I’m also thinking of you as precious from the bottom of my heart ☺️

This spring, I became a high school student and joined the wind instrument club, but all the other students around me are very skilled, and I’m frustrated that I can’t seem to get better even after receiving advice. What should I think about this?
~
Noel
Congratulations on entering high school ☺️🎉
The wind instrument club, huh~! That’s a club I’ve always admired!
If the people who are giving you advice say things that hurt your feelings, or do things that would take away from your practice time, then that isn’t “advice”; so be sure not to get mixed up (*´ω`*)
I think it’s wonderful to be in an environment where everyone around you is skilled!
I wonder if you entered the wind instrument club because you liked wind instruments?
I’m speaking right now on the assumption that you did, but it truly would be tough at first to remember the various ways of playing the instrument and the various paths towards getting better at it.
But, if you cover up that toughness with your “love” for wind instruments, then before you know it the foundation for improving would have been laid out.
Once you have that down, then you’ll really start to improve in the blink of an eye, and when you do, the enjoyment from that will then become the source of your motivation.
I think coming to know of the relevant know-how, and to then internalise it, is also part of the core essence of a club activity ☺️
I’ll hope that the skilled people around you are those who can give you advice that would build your foundations!
Club activities might be tough, but if you’re able to come to love yourself more through the experiences you accumulate there, then that would also make me happy!

I sent in a lot (of question submissions), but actually all I want to tell you is simply, thank you, and I love you! I’d be happy just having you know that!

Noel

And on that note, I was really happy to have received so many questions! ✨
I’d like to keep doing this more in this fashion, taking it seriously but sometimes bantering, from now on, so I’d be happy to receive all sorts of questions from here on out ☺️
Of course, I’ll be collecting them this month too! Please, definitely send in your questions~ ✨
Well then!!
With all the love in my heart.
Yours ever,
