Here's part 2!

Q. (White)

Noel-kun, good evening!

I think that you’re amazing, Noel-kun, for continuing to steadily work hard.

Do you have tips for how to turn things you do every day into a habit?

~

A.

Good evening!

Ufufu. Hearing that makes me happy! Thank you ☺️

Isn’t it hard to make things into a habit?

I think it’s real tough, to put in all that effort on your own, telling yourself it’s for your own goo~d.

Perhaps the trick is to work steadily at it together with someone else.

For me, I’ll think of the people who will tell me in the future “You worked hard” or “You’re amazing”, and I’ll work hard together with those people in a sort of three-legged race team✌️

I’m with you!

Thank you for supporting all of my hard work up till now! Let’s work hard together from now on!

~

Q. (Sonpii)

When you’re stuck in a rut when you don’t know what to do, how do you deal with that, Noel-kun? What do you tell yourself, or what do you tell your juniors if you see them stuck in such a rut? I’d be happy to hear Noel-kun’s views on this.

~

A.

If I feel like I don’t know anything, at least I know that I’ve got myself!

If you’re shown some difficult mathematical equation, you’d say “I don’t know!” at the start, wouldn’t you.

“Man, this is tough! I don’t know!”

“I don’t even know what I don’t know!” ← I’m here right now

“Alright, let’s take a step back, and look for at least something in this that I know.” ← I wanna get to this point

“Ah, but I know these numbers, and I know what this = symbol means.”

“Hm, what is this Σ? Let’s look it up.”

“Hoho, so that’s how you use it, ah, how difficult.”

“I did my best, but is this the right answer? Let’s check the answers (have someone who knows more about this teach me).”

“Well, I was a little off, but at least I learned a little bit of something new!”

By going through that cycle over and over, you’ll be able to increase the amount of things that you know, I think.

Back when you were like, wehhhh*👶, everything was just things you didn’t know, and it’s not like not knowing is something that’s wrong. If you get to the bottom of the things you don’t know or don’t know how to do, that’s the embodiment of possibility, so don’t be set back by negativity. That’s something I want to tell to myself, to my juniors, and to everyyyyyone!

[ T/N: Noel means, when we were babies, but he uses the sound effect of a baby crying to refer to it. ]

Q. (Noe-san White)

I want to meet Noel-kun so bad, I can’t stand it! (really intense emotion)

Even if it’s just a dream, I want to meet you! (lol)

How might I be able to meet Noel-kun in my dreams?

~

A.

That’s strange, I met you in my dream, though? (really intense emotion)

Might it be that you went back to sleep after waking up, and forgot about that dream~?

Man, you sure are a scatterbrain~!

~

Q. (Kuri)

I watched Noel-kun speaking English at AGT, and watched you dancing on that large stage, and I was filled with courage of my own. Noel-kun, when do you feel filled with courage?

~

A.

Thank you!

I feel filled with courage when I’m carrying something weighty on my back, I think.

When I think about, of course, my own future, or of people who are precious to me, like the people who have entrusted their feelings to me, then I’ll be filled with courage!

I wonder if it might be too much to say that my life also rests on your shoulders…? 🤔

For courage, it’s where you put it to use that matters!

~

Q. (Rumraisin)

Noel-kun, since you spoke in a magazine before about fantasising, please tell me about the essence of fantasising!

~

A.

It’s not to be embarrassed.

It doesn’t create trouble for a~nyone, and so you can expand upon (your fantasies) freely~!

That’s the essence of fantasising…!

Fantasising is the most cost-effective method of entertainment, you know.

~

Q. (Natsuki)

I see the phrase “The right answer is the one that you choose” around from time to time, but I don’t really get it and that gets me really worked up.

Noel-kun, how would you explain this phrase?

~

A.

I think that you’d feel worked up because of the idea that there would be “wrong answers” in this world.

No matter what choice you make, you’ll encounter its associated outcome, and how you deal with that is what life is about, so there’s surely no such thing as a wrong answer.

There’s no world in which everything will proceed exactly according to how you’d expect it to, and that’s why creative works exist in the first place; and there’s surely many things that would make you feel downtrodden or that you messed up.

But the things you learn and the experience you gain from that will further enrich your life.

With the above in mind, for someone who doesn’t feel like the path or “answer” that they choose is meaningless, and who considers it to be the ‘right” answer because it gave them this experience, when such a person feels down they’ll focus their time and energy into making a new choice, and create their own path up ahead of them out of the things they learn from that - that’s what I think.

If there’s something you think of as the “right” answer, then there’s no need to waste time feeling bad or anything, right? ☺️

This is totally just my own interpretation, though!

Q. (GENMAYU)

Noel-kun!!!!!!!! Have you eaten dinner? Have you taken your bath? Have you brushed your teeth? Are you all ready for bed? I’m all OK! Well then, goodnight!!!

~

A.

Yuuup, good night!!! (jumps into bed)

~

Q. (7 centimetres)

I started attending online English classes, with the intention of picking up English! Every lesson, the teacher will start off by asking us “How are you?”, but I can never think of a good response aside from the super normal “I’m fine”, and this makes me very distressed… Noel-sensei, how should I respond?

~

A.

Wow, I’m happy that Travis Japan became the impetus for you to start something new!

I only say really normal stuff like,

“Great! And you?”, though (lol)

But nobody really finds that strange, so it’s alright! Try saying many things without feeling embarrassed!

Try saying stuff like “As usual!” or “Pretty good!”, and at any rate try to expand your collection of responses so you won’t feel distressed!

(I don’t ever say anything but “Yo!” to my passing acquaintances from university and such, anyways 😈 (Don’t worry about it))

Who cares, after all :)

~

Q. (karin)

Noel-kun, are you the type to properly measure out all your ingredients when you cook? Or do you just throw in what feels right?

~

A.

I’ll properly measure them out until I’m able to just eyeball the required amounts! Once I get used to it I’ll throw the ingredients in with the quantities based on how I feel that day 💣

~

Q. (Maaya)

Noel-kun, I really like you!!! There’s only a few minutes left before the question collection corner closes, but I don’t really know what (question) to send so I’ll just send you my love!!! I really love you every day!!  Thank you for everythinggggggg!! Sorry this wasn’t a question!!!

~

A.

Thanks for slipping in~!!!!

If you think of anything within this month, send it in next time!!!

I love you every day toooooo!!!

(The label of a question corner is just a facad- oh, someone came in)
